Particularly as the the weather starts to cool, a dip in the ocean is a sure fire way to get an all-natural high. Pair that with a stunner of a Sydney sun rise, top it off with a takeaway from The Bogey Hole Cafe and your day is well and truly set! Located right opposite the beach, it’s the perfect place to go with your towel wrapped around you and thongs in hand. Each time I go in, it’s a constant battle. Eat the cake? Let the cake live? So far, I’ve managed to save many glutinous lives. I’m pretty certain you can grab real food there as well. Either way, the coffee is quick and tastes good. Strong soy flat white comes in at $4.

Technically a juice bar, but they do coffee really bloody well. Super popular in the mornings when the gym goers need their post workout sustenance, this place racks up a line quicker than Steve-O. Without a doubt, Cali Press is my number one pick for a takeaway in Bronte. I’m a sucker for their sweet potato brownie too. Think moist, moorish, not the least bit potato-ish and apparently it’s kinda healthy. They also serve up a mean smoothie and have a fridge filled with cold pressed juices, super nutritious snacks and salads. If you hit up their Instagram @calipressjuice, promise not to lick your screen. That’s just gross. Strong soy flat white comes in at $4 and they have a loyalty program too.
